Entity Record Search

Ask Entity Record Search for a entity lookup

Quick answer. Email hello@entityrecordsearch.com with the legal name, the state, and any file, permit, or license number you already have. Entity Record Search reads the public entity lookup record and replies to that address.

What to include

An entity lookup pulls the state’s row for a company: type, file number, status, and formation date. It is not a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) search and it is not a background check. Inactive and dissolved entities remain in the index so you can see that they once existed.

The form on entityrecordsearch.com does not file a document and does not log into a government account. Entity Record Search does not issue a legal-entity identifier and does not revive a dissolved company.
